Srivathsan “Sri” Vaidhiyanathan Uma is a Data Scientist & Senior Consultant with the Financial Reporting Group at Equity Methods, where he prepares data for processing, reviews and revises existing processes as needed, and answers key questions from a portfolio of large public companies. Sri also supports the HR Advisory Services group by preparing reports that reflect award design changes, forecasting expenses and various other compensation elements for clients.

Prior to his role with Equity Methods, Sri was an intern with KPMG in India and was a contributing member of the team that designed the blueprint for one of India’s first smart cities. The effort, which would allow Mumbai to govern using technology and big-data analytics, was one of the first smart cities of that scale.

Sri graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, with distinction, in Computer Science from SASTRA Deemed University. He also earned a Master’s degree in Business Analytics from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business.
