Nikhil Guruji is a Senior Consultant with Equity Methods in the Valuation Services group. Nikhil has a diverse background in quantitative finance, engineering, mathematics, and programming. In his current role as a Senior Consultant, Nikhil leads the valuation of various complex financial instruments such as warrants, structured products, convertible securities, contingent considerations, and interest rate-related derivative securities, along with various equity compensation instruments for ASC 718 compliance.

Another part of his role involves the maintenance and development of internal SAS and Excel processes which helps Equity Methods serve its clients more efficiently. Nikhil also leads the valuation and internal review of various data-based valuation engagements like Forfeiture Rate, Expected Term, and Pay Ratio Analyses.

Prior to joining Equity Methods, Nikhil worked as a Liquidity Risk Analyst in the Insurance industry. His primary role was as a lead in Asset-Liability Management Hedging operations. Apart from solving various valuation puzzles for Equity Methods, Nikhil also likes to play and watch soccer, and aspires to visit the Old Trafford someday.

Nikhil holds a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles – Anderson School of Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Warangal in India. He is a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
