Saumya is a Consultant in the Valuation Services group at Equity Methods. In her current role, Saumya provides support to team members and clients in custom valuation engagements in accordance with ASC 718. She utilizes Monte Carlo simulations, Lattice, and Black-Scholes models in the valuation of various equity compensation instruments. She also assists the team in the valuation of various complex financial instruments such as warrants, structured products, convertible securities, contingent considerations, and interest rate-related derivative securities.
Saumya holds a Master’s of Science in Finance degree from the University of Rochester- Simon Business School, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance degree from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai.
